Hi

Somehow it seems that in news 1.63 the scoop text on my site is no longer then about 200 caracters. Does anybody know how i can change this. I just want the whole story in the scoop window.

Even the subject line can not hold more than 20 caracters. It seems cut ans paste will not work etc. Could this be an error in the editor i am using. If i switch to Englisch i can put more text in.

XOOPS Versie - XOOPS 2.3.2
PHP Versie - 4.4.7
MySQL Versie - 4.1.21-standard-log
Server API Versie - cgi
OS Versie - Linux

Hi,

Yes i used the basic theme, however it seems all themes have the same problem. I used a piece of css provided by Ian and Mamba for xoops.css but with no luck.
Quote:
/* based on FabClearing by Fcaldera www.html.it*/
#centercolumn .blockContent:after, #xo-page .xo-blockcontent:after {
content: ".";
display: block;
height: 0px;
clear: both;
visibility: hidden;
}

/**/
#centercolumn .blockContent, #xo-page .xo-blockcontent {
display: inline-block;
}
/**/

#centercolumn .blockContent, #xo-page .xo-blockcontent {
clear: both; /* for Gecko */
height: 1%; /* for IE */
}

Hi.

It seems after the upgrade to 2.2.3b all images on the main site are resized to thumbs, any idea how to fix this?

Hi,

No solution. I went back to an older version of newbb and XOOPS 2.0.17. That worked out ok for me. I must say i am verry dissapointed with the solutions brought here by dev team members. I think the ship is going down this way.

Next step joomla maybe because it gives me a great deal of problems lately to keep working with xoops.

php debug comes up with no errors so thats no help. This must be a bigger problem and i just cant seem to figure out what it is. Plaese help community because a site without a forum or XOOPS withou forum is just nothing.

So far so good, but i still dont have a working newsletter module that works ok with 500+ users and with php4. I can only hope things change for the better after my host upgrades to php5. In the meantime i have to think of any other solution.

Thanks anyway for the reply's

Thanks for the reaction, but RMSoft req php 5 and that is my problem. Another problem is the smartmail mod. You have to be a registerd user for this module to work.

I liked the simplicity of PP-news but somehow this mod is no longer working since my assigned users came above the 500 members.

Any other idea ?
