look at xoops-magazin.com there ist a hack to put the captcha code in the registry form. The hack should be work in 2.2.x too.

delete alle cockies, browser cache and files in the folder 'cache'. then try again to login. if the login fail set the user session time ind the admin area to al higher value

It was about 3 years ago, i was searching for a CMS to use on the website for my father. I found 'myXOOPS the german XOOPS Community. After a 1 hour all other cms where deletet from my harddisk and the one and only CMS XOOPS was right to be installed. And i never felt sorry about this decision.

-- you can ignore the error. It usually means that the script is trying to remove a non-existing record from database, which makes no harm if the removal is not executed; or it could indicate crash of your database, which obvious not your case.

you can use flashchat ( 5$ ) or dh-chat (find it on myxoops.org or simple-xoops.de). DH-Chat works fine i use it too, but the autor has stopped dev at the moment.
