Is there a documentation anywhere that explains what the individual styles in the style sheet affect. Especially with reguard to the menus.

Terry

PHP Page Cache Source Files

I don't know if this the right forum, but it'll do.

I'll like into look at the possibility changing the block cache so that the pages are cached by user group. The current cache causes strange problems with other user groups seeing things that they should not; when multiple user groups are logged on. This means that I have to turn the page cache off for a lot of the pages, thus making the site slower.

So can anybody give me a list of the PHP files that manage the cache so I can have a look at them?

Thanks in advance.
Terry.

It’s a PHP 5.05 incompatibility in MultiMenu, loaded PHP 5.04 and it works Ok.

Sort of got it up and running by using the "Protector" rescue.

Now when I try to login I get:
Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\AusCps\modules\multiMenu\blocks\block.php on line 99

When I rename the "MultiMenu" folder to something the site comes up.

Does any body know what would cause "MultiMenu" to do this.

I'm using Xp Pro with IIS 5. I can't see that's it's a MySql / PHP compatibility problem as I have a working XOOPS 2.2.3 Final site running quite happily on the same laptop.

I’m trying to setup a copy of my web site on my laptop so I can try the 2.2.x upgrade and find out in advance what problems I’m going to have.

I copied the web site and databases to my laptop and edited the settings in the mainfile.php. When I try and call up the web site all I get is a blank page. I’ve tried setting on Debug in the XOOPS configuration table with the MySql Browser and set E_ALL in the common.php, but when I try and call up the web site all I still get is a blank page with no error messages.
I’ve also cleared out the cache (except for the adminmenu.php) and templatec_c folders with no effect.

Any suggestion on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Terry

Mostly I only need IIS help as I as don't use PHP for my own web sites. I use ISAPI dll's which I write in Delphi as it gives me great execution speed.

If your interested in performance tuning PHP on IIS I have also written a bit of an article

I think a "bit" of an article is an understatement. I'll read it when I have a large amount of time. Probably on the weekend.

Thanks for that command. It showed that it was trying to pick up the php.ini from "C:\windows" rather than "C:\php" so I copied the php.ini to the "Windows" folder.

What tell it where to pick up the "ini" from? On my server it's picking it up from the PHP folder.

Thanks
Terry.

I can find nothing referring to MySql except the entries in the "path" environment variable.
