Dear fellows,

I don't know if you have encountered this mysterious log-in that challenged me so much. I hope you can help me cope with this.

There are times when I log-in and before the shoutbox finish loading (for registered users), i was suddenly logged-out where in fact i saw a log-in welcome! So I refresh the page, and need to log-in again and at last, i was logged-in... In short, there are times that I need to log-in twice! what do you think is the reason for this?

Hope you encounter this problem too..

more power to you all...

Good day,

I did search in various page of your forums but can't find this case:

How to call the index file of a module so that it will be seen directly on the index.php?

A very good example is the yellow page by http://www.folsomliving.com

The module for yellow page appears on the front page!Got any code for this?

More power to all

I got your point Dave_L, in fact, your explaination is clear. Just one more thing..what do you mean "Any changes you make to the files in templates_c will get overwritten the next time Smarty recompiles the templates" You mean the "next time smarty recompiles the template"

1. When or How often this template is recomplied?

2. I can't find ways where to edit the theme.html for each template. Can I edit via administration|System|templates? I cand find where.

3. Can I copy the codes and tags of any file from "template_c" then paste these tags to "theme.html" located in the template folder?

4. Is it advisable to delete all files in the "template_c"?

Thanks and more power,

fryonvigil

Well thanks,

But I noticed that editing templates via administration|System|templates will only edit thos templates of individual module...How about the template for each theme, say: imagotheme, mountaintheme by xbanius?

Is it acceptable to use those files in the "template_c" I'm these files and everything works fine..

Thanks and more power,

Dearest fellow,

Does anyone out there who rally know the relevance of this "template_c"?

I tried to develop a XOOPS website in my standalone and I always made my modification and enhancement of each page by editing files inside the folder "template_c". Are there some issues with this?

This is a challenge to us...

thanks and more power

Hallooo masters,

I did tried to create my own module, a costumized contact form.

I also have a "process.php" to process the form ("profile.html") I want to make this as XOOPS module. Does anyone has the idea so that it incorporates with XOOPS and when I submit the button, the process.php will be on the same module directory...

please help,
