I now looked at home and it's working correct.

I believe this has something to do with sitting behind a proxy server at work?

I just installed a fresh XOOPS 2.0.14.

What happens is that all the links to modules have an incorrect path, e.g. Administration menu points tohttp://www.mysite.com/admin.php instead ofhttp://www.mysite.com/modules/system/admin.php.

Also the default theme looks a bit messed up.

Here's the link:

I'm sorry, I was too much in a hurry yesterday with posting the question, so I didn't give the info you needed.

The problem is solved, something went wrong with my XOOPS install. After a fresh install it works.

Thanks.

When I install a module and click on the menu the page cannot be found.

In the url the "modules/<modulename>/ is missing.

How can I solve this?

Check your blocks and find the corresponding classes/id's in style.css in your theme directory. I assume you are using Internet Explorer, if you use Firefox check styleNN.css

IE has some strange quirks interpreting css

You can setup a local environment with e.g. WAMPServer and install XOOPS on your local PC.

Then you have a local webserver with Apache, PHP and MySQL and you can test your theme(s) on your local PC.

You need to change this in the CSS files from your theme.

Locate the div.dropdown items.

Perhaps you can use a Dynamic DNS Service, like No-IP?
