Greetings -

I am thinking of upgrading in the near future. However, I had a brain fart and forgot where is the XOOPS version.

What *.php file is the XOOPS version on?

Greetings Mithrandir -

Not a problem. Things happen.

Glad to have the site back. Excellent work by all those involved.

Greetings Mithrandir -

The update files are no longer available when I try to download either the zip or the tag.gz.

Get an error at source forge.

Apparently, the original developers of Mambo have philosophical differences with the organization that was managing the project and have decided to part their ways and keep their development vision intact. As such, Mambo 4.5.2.3 has been re-released with bug fixes and other modifications as Joomla 1.0.

From what I see in the Mambo related sites, most Mambo users have decided to follow the Joomla developers and not support the Mambo Foundation in their efforts.

Check out this LINK to see what is going on.

I agree with adding an additional field for each release of XOOPS that can be checked when the module has been proven to work with that release.

Please note that this is going to be something that will need to be checked again in 2.4.x, 2.6.x, 4.0.x, etc.

As an alternative sugestion, you can post a comment on the module itself after you have checked it out.

So if you see seventeen people have checked out a module and their comments say it works on 2.2.x you got a higher level of confidence that this will work properly than if you see two people have checked out a module and say that it works. Obviously, you can post comments if you have problems with a module.

Hope That Helps.

Greetings -

It seems that the avatar and other images are comming back. However, sometimes they display, sometimes they do not.

I found it interesting that when I posted this message on the redisplayed message list the avatar picture did not show. And it actually showed two broken images from where I tried to change the broken avatar icon to none.

Is there a way to fix this little hitch?

Are the avatar pictures still missing from the comments?

Roberto Artigas
