XPress is WordPress made in a XOOPS module.. It's probably the module you are looking for.

Unfortunately it has the following bugs:

- The email gateway (send emails to a specfied address and let them be published as blog entries automatically) does not work
- The "latest comments in blogs"-blocks disappear when you update the module

And don't expect any support when you write bug reports.

Apart from that, it's a good module.

Is here anybody that makes a decision?

It's not that complicated to discuss this for weeks.

With the account you provided, I don't even see the menu item for sending in pictures.

Seems you didn't give the right permissions. You must set general group permissions and permissions for each category you create.

Coppermine comes with a XOOPS bridge by default. Just click on the bridge wizard in Coppermine and you can choose XOOPS for bridging. Though I can not tell you, whether that works, I have never tried that. Also be prepared that the permission handling in Coppermine is rather poor and might not be able to reflect XOOPS permissions 1:1. Theme bridging won't work at all!

They probably also have documentation and support forums for bridging at the Coppermine homepage.

If you are looking for an integrated gallery in Xoops, try MyAlbum-P from http://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/

Obviously there is a problem with the RSS feed. Yes.
What do you want to hear? You didn't even post the RSS feed itself.

But since there is no official news module anymore and even the author of News 1.4 does not continue developing it, you probably won't get a reply.

Xoops is - more or less - dead. There is no central coordination person/team that wants to organize things a bit.

Either you have to live with it or you have to look for another portal/CMS. It's that simple.

Re: RSS FEEDS IN XOOPS

Can you provide a link to your site?

If you use stressed vowels directly and the RSS-feed has a UTF-8 encoding, those vowels will not be rendered correctly. In this case you have to use HTML entities or UTF-8 chars.

I don't see a reason why not using this. If you use stressed vowels directly, then ISO-8859-1 is the best charset you could set.

Re: Login with FireFox

Really strange... I had the same problems with Firefox but couldn't find any JavaScript event for the login fields. It might be a general handler function in the theme you are using. Did you try out another theme?

Re: Xoops Planet

Actually, the only thing I can think of is, that your hosting service doesn't allow the fopen() when used with URLs, but it's just an assumption since I didn't program the module.

Unfortunately replies of phppp, the author of this module, are rare and mostly unhelpful.

Try out another module such as Xhld (http://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/). If that fails as well, it's very likely that it has something to do with your hosting service.

Maybe you should take a look at your installation - then you may find out that there are no modules delivered with 2.0.14.

You can then take a look around here and see that there are various discussions going on whether to include modules with the core release or not.

Re: Article 0.96 Issue - problem with block on front page

It's probably the same issue as posted in this thread.
