My company, Out of the Box Solutions, Inc., sponsered a module for one of our educational clients - Eton Academy. It is the OBS_Classroom module. I believe that this is exactly what you are looking for.

I believe there is a download on Mith's site. (He did the coding - And a great job too!) If you can not find it, I can post it for download on our site. Just use the contact us form on our site.

Just FYI:

This is the default install from Gentoo and Redhat ES not some wierd config.

I would like to reset the permissions on my entire install. Anyone know a good way to do this?

I thought of doing a ls -r /www > filename then parsing the file and putting the correct permissions, and running it as a script. Any ideas of a better way?
