Problems with CBB

I have got a big problem with CBB, after installing on a brand new installation of xoops, the latest version, it doesn't have any options to say, for example - 'New Post', or 'Reply', or whatever you can think of, it shows the different forums but once clciked on brings nothing up.

Somebody help, have I done something wrong??? Because this has happened on 2 of my XOOPS sites with CBB and NewBB2

Hi, I recently decided to add a personal link to my main menu and read how to do it on your knowledge base, after doing everything in order, including updating the system module the link still doesn't show up. Can anyone help??

Hi, I just installed XOOPS and I have all of these notices at the bottom of the screen, the system works fine, just I can't leave all of these there, I am a complete novice when it comes to any sort of php etc...
Please someone help me!!
