first bug,well is not a bug.

the <{$xoops_url}> is missing in the xdir_index.html template file.

To fix simply open the xdir_index.html template file and
change

<td align="right"> Business Owners<br><a href="/modules/xdirectory/submit.php"><u>click here</u></a>

to
<td align="right"> Business Owners<br><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/xdirectory/submit.php"><u>click here</u></a>

that´s a very cool idea, the XOOPS sites would be very flexible and customizable in these way, i like it :)

the MyDownloads RC1 has upload feature for the file and for the screenshot.

the next xdirectory version will be the same you are using right now in your site?
with the search form,new template,etc? i hope yes!
you have idea when the next version will be ready for release?

Is very easy to do, simply clone your news module folder to news2
search in all the module files for the xoops/modules/news/ etc etc and change to news2 too.

and finally change the name of the template files for example:

news_archive.html to news2_archive.html
news_index.html to news2_index.html
etc
etc

and remember modify in all the php files of the module the references to these template files too.

is easy ,the only secret is make slowy and take care about every reference in every file.
