Hello

i Came across i guess Germany site that released debaser 0.93 it seem old release not new . the package doest include a file wht changes or wht new .. anyone know anything about this version ..

i used small script , i cant remember where i found it but this script hide the actual folder that content the mp3 file . and generate a Mask link, like this.

http://www.sitename.com/files.php?file=mysong.mp3


Now when i copy this link and add to debaser as single file , all works Ok , u can download the file and the visitor cant find the actual folder for my songs . but when u hit stream for the file it won't stream it because the files actually outside the root..

Hello

is there way to put my mp3 files outside the room and stream them via debaser ..

i tried to link to them by put the path to the mp3 folder but it didt work it works only when the mp3 files inside the root site .. i have limited bandwidth .

if there no way wht if i can make a folder lets call it audio and use htaccess file inside this folder to grap the mp3 file from another foolder out side the root ..

i have used anti-leach script to create link for my mp3 files i t works but the streaming Not ..

so any one tried the htaccess file to do such thing ..

Hello

1- is there any way to limit registeration by IP

2- its about debaser , who ever devloped it seems forget it , no support any more . so i would like to ask ur help.
i have problem with debaser , when u enable allow quest to rate a file . the issue is when a guest rate a file for first time no any other guest's can rate it again ..they get message that they already rated the file..

is any way to work around it..

i dont understand why the devlopers dont have the same problem that we do here . i have delted the cash and still same. but there no problem when run new installation , but when i update my site with same fresh files i used for fresh installation i get the error menationed above with legacy.

stream audio from outside root site

Hello

is there way to put my audio files outside my site root and use debaser to stream .. i have limited bandwidth and i dont want leachers know the actualy link to the files . I know debaser use the get file id but still can be leached .

Debaser is great Module it just out Dated .. i have asked same quastion like u and i didt get answer . the author of debaser Said there will be V3 sometime ! Maybe Long time . ido not know

Thx . problem Solved after included the mainfile manulay to header.php inside the debaser module..

Hello

i have upgraded XOOPS to 2.3.3 , all looks good and all modules works Ok But Debaser Rate system .. when u click to Rate a file i get this error 'XOOPS root path not defined'

i have searched this forum for the error and i found some had this problem with other modules too but no soluation .

Sure XOOPS root path defined in the mainfile.php or els the site wont work or or other modules . but all ok but the rate system in debaser ..

Any idea wht it might cuase this problem .

HAHAHAH..

i coudt report the bug to the link u provided , i needed log in user and pass and i 'm little lazy to sign up ..

Hope it could be fixed from here . No need new release just patch it..
