eventhough i am quite new to this cms world....i have tried drupal and joomla but i still return back to xoops..

it it sad to see the dev team running away from XOOPS and working with other cms which is based on xoops..you know which cms i'm talking about right ? why can you guys work together in one platform...

i'm still with xoops..but i don't know for how long...i owe it a lot to XOOPS ..

hope dev team XOOPS to be strong as before one day..there is alot of knowledgeable and talented XOOPS module developer...why don't invite them to core team...

as example hervet, trabis, ghia, tank, etc

1. i see this in XOOPS france forum..how do i do this in my cbb forum

2. is there any hack to make my comment to be wordpress style..right now we have to click post comment and then only we can post our comment..i would like the comment form to be below the article

i have seen the comment anywhere module by gijoe...but it does not support all module..is there any easy way to do this ?

if possible i would like to use the simple text area

xoops Groups & Block Management - wishlist

one of XOOPS advantages from other cms is the powerful group permission and block management it has...i would like to suggest some improvement...

- block title..make an option (yes/no) so that user can select to show or not to show the block title.the current option is not put a title or use

- permission of block in the block management...now we have to go to the group setting..why just not put it in the block main page
- cloning of group ..cloning of block has already been implemented..what about group cloning ?..this is a must
- more block positions
- a more clean block -https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=673 put an option in admin


if anyone have any other suggestion, post it here..hope someone outhere especially the core developer can implement these suggestion in XOOPS 2.3 or in future version 3.0 etc...thanks

for those of you who still have probem.. check the field visibilty permission in smartprofile admin

you jave to make it visible so the field can appear in the yogurt module
