excellent, thanks for your help guys & gals(if any)...

Seems I either turn it OFF and have great security issues as I can't trust ALL of my users or have it on and loose out on some potential users!

I thought XOOPS creator(s) would have made it as standard that ALL users on the Internet with or without firewall protection could register!

Hi,

Please can someone help, I now have about 7 registered users and 5 of them have told me that they hade to turn OFF Firewall protections because they couldn't register.

Once they did this and got confirmation email they put protection back ON and all is fine?..

I don't want people having to turn protection OFF just to register, how can I stop this and let ANYONE no matter what they are using register?

Please answer someone.

Hi all,

I did search first but couldn't find the answer so, I will truy here.

I have a well developed site and although I only have 6 registered users I have the forum, news, polls, third-party modules and reviews etc... four blocks on my top(main) page and the Frozen Bubble game...

Question 1:
I am running on XOOPS 2.0.9.2 and would like to upgrade to version 2.1.1 will I loose any data I have (or my members) entered already?

Question 2:
Is it really worth upgrading?.. will I benefit from it?

Some people from my place are saying that they can't register new accounts aswell.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi all, first let me say that I LOVE xoops, after running oscommerce, the main php site, phpbb forum and a few add-ons I ran out of space.. I found this in my fantastico scripts and LOVE IT!... good job dudes, I DO have a question though...

I have added a forum, Frozen Bubble game and the Members modules and all work fine but on the left hand side of my screen under Main Menu the order is:-

News
Frozen Bubble
Reviews
Forum
Members

Q) How do I change this order?.. I would like it to be:-

News
Reviews
Forum
Frozen Bubble
Members


Please, someone help.
