option 3 clone simpletest module, reformat as needed. for more info read the faq on module cloning.

and yeah you are right, it wil be a little project.

sometimes updating modules can be messed up by your firewall. its just a thought, no guarantees.

either way the script will be the same, there are just user defined variables that need to be edited. i.e. server route i.e. ip and port. here is where it may differ. when it comes to ts you need shell acces to access the logs server side. I am not sure if vent is similar because i could never understand paying to find out :)

In short, yes you are forced to request your provider supply the script.

A complex php script that pulls data from the server.log

I believe you are looking for a standalone ts server. to do this you will need shell access. Depending on who your server is hosted by; i.e. you may not be able to do this. I tell ya what i'll pm ya :)

Thats exactly what i was saying, well if you are unable to change your directory. and by this i mean installing XOOPS directly into public_html then perhaps you could set up a hard redirect through cpanel. simply log into cpanel and select the "redirects" link. The rest is pretty self explanatory. I am not sure what app it was that you used for the intro, but it looks like it is from the flash-mx family. So relying on a redirect that you specified inside of a third party application may be the problem.

Also any thoughts on the french to english translation? I would love to do it if I knew the language. Is there a shortcut?
