Because I use a freehost (I know!) I would like my page, when opened, to jump down 6 lines.

I know it's possible but can't remember how and can't find the script which does so...

Can someone help?

The freehost is a temp.solution so pls do not comment on that!

You can start by just posting this Q once!

You cannot solve this prob with blockweights!

What you are going to have to do is modify your theme.html. The way it's set now is it shows all newsitems on top. You should move that part down.

The best way to do this is in dreamweaver.. Take a copy of your theme.html and rename the original theme.html (so you'll always have a working copy on your server which will work again by just renaming it back).

When opened with dreamweaver you'll see 3 colomns: left, middle and right. Take the middle column and re-arange this part up: '<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_ccblocks}> <{include file="default/theme_blockcenter_c.html"}> <{/foreach}>'.

Just try, you'll still have a original (renamed) theme.html on your server in case something goes wrong!

Did you make a backup earlier?

If yes: drop the tables into your database.
If no: you are out of luck!

What path do you use now?

I can imagine it would restart every time you'd call a different page. If it's in the header you can't cache it (I think) because it's no part of a module.

I suppose you should use a path like:http://mysite.com/images/header/... including the usual flash embed lines.

I wouldn't use a flash in my header anyway, the constant moving image is anoying!

Who can see what modules you can set in the groups. Who can post in what forum you can set in the forumadmin.

So do not look solely at the groupsadmin, go the forumadmin and set the rights for each and every forum.

< embed src="filename.mid" hidden="true" autostart="true" loop="true" >
will start music while ppl visit your site. You can set the "true" to "false" if you like. Make sure your musicfile is a midi.
Before copying this line first remove the space after '<' and before '>' !!!! Couldn't submit it in this forum otherwise.

But why do you want music on your site? It scares ppl away. But it's your site, your decision

Be carefull though: whitout working in frames, you'll find that music starts over and over again when links are being hit. So putting this code into a block which appears on the front page is better then putting it into your header/footer!
