I am trying to add a link that is an e-mail address in a custom block. I am formatting the link as "mailto:joe@yahoo.com" and when I post the block it adds http:// autimatically. is there any way to get around this. I have no doubt there is but I can't figure it out.
I would appreciate the help.

Disregard, I changed the settings manually through the template files.

I am trying to add some links on the admin (backend) of my site. I am building the site for my church and I will not be the one administering it. I want to add my e-mail address and some instructions on that page but i am having trouble figuring out how to do this. I would like to delete the link to XOOPS news also as i am trying to get rid of everything that is not helpful to the administrator.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try going into the templates and editing the template with an html editor (frontpage, etc.). This will not get rid of the feature but it will keep it from showing up on your page.

I have almost all of my modules adjusted and editing the html is always by far the easiest way to effect the way the module works. e-mail me if you still have problems and I will try to help. (matt@mattregister.com)

I need some help. I am trying to get the rss to work on the xCal module. I have worked for quite a while on this and I am not getting anywhere fast. I am willing to pay someone to look at this and see if there is any way to get this to work.

I am trying to get the rss to work so I can put a block up on the front page of my site that lists the "next 7 days events" on my church website.

I have the rss turned on in the config file but i am getting an error "Unable to locate module configuration variables!"

If anyone is available or willing to help, please e-mail at matt@mattregister.com.

thanks, matt

I am running XOOPS 2.0.15 and wfchannel version 1.07. In the admin section I am not seeing any way to change the refer a friend page or the link to me page. When I click the link to open the admin for those pages, the header (links) are still there but there is nothing below it.

I even uploaded the module from a page i have using XOOPS 2.0.14 where that feature works and i am getting nothing on the new page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am using XHLD 1.03 RSS reader. I am trying to feed another XOOPS site's blog in the member's only section. I need to somehow add my username and password to log me in before it will let me view the headlines. Has anybody run into this before?

BTW, using XOOPS 2.0.14 on both my site and the site I am trying to feed from.

Guys,
I am trying to start a personal page so my wife can upload pictures (arranged in albums) easily and send the link to family and friends. any suggestions on which one to use. The xoopsgallery looked promising but I have spent several evenings on it without much success. I suspect if I could get the hack to work for the "quick upload", that would be best but I keep getting an error on it.

I appreciate any help you could give me.
