Hi,

Since include path_to/block_name.php doesn't seem to work..

Is there a format for embedding blocks in the theme?

Thanks!

Thanks DonXoop for the hint.

I was working on that theme so long I forgot about block_centre.html etc...

Best wishes!

Hi,

I do not know about you, but I do not like the legend tag because I prefer clean interfaces..
The legend tag wraps a chunk of information with a rectangled line, and alows to title the chunk. For example, the "Welcome to the Official XOOPS website!" on this site's home page.

Therefore, I try to rid a site I design from the legend tag, however, it does not go away...

Any ideas..?

(I did clean cache, templates_c.. etc..)

Thanks!

Can you recall which modules they are?

Thanks!

Hi,

I tried to convince a friend to use XOOPS for a new ebsite he is planning.
He liked the system, but was seriously put off by the RSS friendlyness, or rather lack of it, in xoops.

There's RSSfit module, but it seems clunky to work with and limited to certain modules.
When, as a designer, you just want to get on with the website, and realise RSS comes as a basic feature in other CMS platforms, it becomes easier to just use another platform..

Shame, really, because XOOPS is probably the best CMS - but when time and clients knock on the door, other preferences kick in...

Hi,

I thought to rename a module, all I'd need is:
* to change its' directory name (e.g. wfdownloads to balls)
and
* change a line in the xoops_version.php file to tell it the directory name was changed.
(e.g. $modversion['dirname'] = "balls";)

Getting white screens after doing such changes - means I am missing something..

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

Anyone has an idea/clue why the newest posts block shows:

Forum Title Author

Rather than, what I hoped for:

(Similar to this site..)

Thanks!
