I did check the max picture size, and i am well under the specs, it set at 1 meg and 1024x1024, the file i have been testing is 384 bytes and 600x400, I am uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps at this point,

well, i have it changed to 0777 it wont 777, and now i get the error "chmod 0777 into /home/brian/public_html/uploads/photos failed" any suggestions from any one?

also where are the install directions, i didnt get a readme file

I go thru ftp from a network place i created, where would i need to go to change the chmod?

how do you set chmod 777? sorry, i dont know, i loaded the new version and i still get the same error is it because of the chmod 777? its a permision right? would it be on the server?

I have XOOPS 2.0 and my album 2.8.4 cant find link to new module, I cannot upload any images I get an error stating that the file is to big or there is problem with the configuration, I am trying to upload a .png and a .jpg image well under the file size limit and pixel ratio limit, the file extensions are valid in the settings, is it because it is an outdated version? any assistance will be appreciated, no errors from the debug mode either

how to add pages??

I want to add links in the main menu and modules seem to be the only way to add a page, is there a content module i can get, that has blocks and etc in it? or what else is recommended to add pages, i.e. I am trying to a informational site, and i want different categories of topics to appear under the main menu, what is the best way to proceed? thanks!

I left work and the site was working as it should, when i got home, my theme i have wont display, basically I am left with no blocks around menus, and the color scheme of the theme is gone, so, all i have is a white background with links around, the am running XOOPS 2.0 and the errors i am getting are Notice: Undefined index: meta_desc in file /include/functions.php line 53
Notice: Object of class XoopsUser could not be converted to int in file /include/xoops13_header.php line 31 I made no changes, so, I dont know what has happened, please help

also, i have tried changing the theme, and i get no change, also i have missing blocks, and they are visible, on all layers, i can see them try to load, and them disapear... please, any suggestions?
