Cheers for any help...

Ok, I managed to fix it...

The click URL wasn't being saved. When I try and save the click url it says "taking you back to where you were". So I went and manually entered it into the db and it works.

There's lots of modules that don't work (polls, links and lots more that I've had to disable...) after I upgraded a while back I fear I might have to change my CMS... such a shame as I like Xoops but it just breaks all the time :(

Hi,

I recently enabled the banners module and added a banner from someone. All worked but then when clicking on the banner it redirects to a page saying "No valid ID detected"

Any ideas why this is happening?

From looking at the constant of that text and banners.php I think it is on about $_GET['bid'] which is in the url so I don't get it. The other banner I have send them to a contact page (for advertisers) and that works so I just don't understand it.

Many thanks for any help!

Hi,

Long time since i've been able to look at this again. Thanks for the replies.

I'm after a Wiki that will allow functionality like Wikipedia but importantly allow the addition of photos (and possibly videos but this is not that important).

Does simpleWiki allow photos to be added to articles?

cheers...

Hi,

Can anyone suggest the best Wiki module?

Are there any demos of a good one?

Thanks in advance...

Hi,

Solved this...

I stupidly didn't see under the forum options one for Edit Priv Forums... there you can add users individually.

Cheers!

Hi ghia,

Yes I enabled access for the forum module within the group. I'm using newbbex. It does have a drop down for access when editing the forum but only has the options for anon, reg or admin users.

Hope this can be done :)

Hi,

Is there anyway I can restrict a forum to a user group?

I have a private forum which I only want viewable by a group which I created.

I thought once I'd created the group it would appear in the drop down on the forum settings for access but it doesn't.

Any Ideas?

TIA...

Hi,

I currently have installed the newbbex forum module but i'mwondering what the best one is.

Some things I don't like about the newbbex forum module is mainly the icons and the way it embeds quotes and nested quotes.

What would you all recommend? I see xoops.org uses CBB... maybe i'll replace for this one.
