I appologize.

I thought this could be somewhat of a "known" issue.

Below are my details, however the issue has just gotten fixed.

As I mentioned, it was the list of newly registred users block that suddenly disappeared (and some other non-system block). I have not done anything that I know could affect, nor do I know about any changes on the server.

Just 5 minutes ago I have overwritten some of the XOOPS system files by implementing the profile photo hack, which I then installed.

When I then looked at my front page, the new users block was populated! Go figure...

But thank you for a quick response!

The front page block of this module is amazing - the 4 categories of it, XOOPS, Modules, Themes, YAXS... with the small text header above it

Is it avaiable for download?

Somehow, after a while of display its content one or another block (for instance last registered users block) no longer shows anything.

I tried removing it, and re-adding, but that still does nothing.

Has anyone run into it?

THANKS!

The nice thing about the Profiles module I am working on is that it can be used to prfile anything... not just people. So places, things, people, users can all be profiled.

I did not realize it's so flexible! Will try it ASAP, thanks!!

I am working on a site that would update users with upcoming cultural events.

EDITED:

The module that I envision would be required is a combination of Yellow Pages module and Calendar + Events module.

Separate modules with the above mentioned functionality exist, but no single module that works together.

Ideally I would want to have a record of a Place/Location (such a theater, or club), and then when there is an Event that takes place in this Place, I would just pick it from the list (instead of entering information about the location every time).

I imagine it would be useful if the information stored in the "Yellow Pages" section of a module about the Place/Lotion (such as address, phone number, website), would automatically be displayed in the Event.

If anyone has been working on something similar, please let me know your ideas, or share your experience.

thank you

Good day,

I’ve added Smilies through the Admin “Misc. Tools” menu.

Now all of them appear on the forum/comment – instead of 10 of them, or whatever and a [more …] link to the rest of them.

Is there somewhere I can configure how many I display.

What did I miss?

I got it to work!

Only I used the "content" module. Interestingly enough, only the sub-menu items appeared as an option to be choosen.

Now I am trying to figure out to keep the "content" menu expended/collapsed... it does not seem to want to :)

but thanks for your advise, it got me going!

gestroud,

thank you again for helping me

I am able to see the page if I go through tue C-Jay menu, but it does not appear for my "new event" block configuration. It just shows "all pages":

Resized Image

that's the functionality I seek. I want different "category" of the "new event" block to appear on a different page/module

maybe there's some simple module that I can install more then once (as I mentioned, I need it 9 times), where all it would do is just provide a one page content?

many thanks for your time and effort

You could probably take one of the Static/HTML modules like Cjay Content, create pages for each city and have the block display that way. I know that CJAY will let you display items on separate pages within the module - not too sure about the others.

I do use the "content" module for exact links, and sub-links etc..

maybe I am not understanding this correctly...

I just tried the "Cjay Content" module. When I go to "edit block" for my "new event" so I can display only Prague category of the events I have the "visible in" option... and there I have Cjay Conect, and "all module pages". I have tried to upload and create an html Prague.html, but it did not appear an an option to show block on.. should it have?
