Then I don't know what to say. I have similar date settings in my global and forum files (except that I don't use textual names), and it works fine. Maybe you just need to clear templates_c on the server or the cache on your computer?

You need to change the file newbb/language/english/main.php

The display date part starts at line 463. You'll know what to do. But read the info there about special chars!

Very good instructions, thank you.
I've even started Step 1, with changing names from countries to languages, and eliminating some of the flags (as for languages I don't need all of them), but then.. I've realized that I can't see if it allows a multiple choise from the drop-down menu. Does it?
Because that's what I am looking for: a way to display flags for all of the languages from a multilanguage site..

Yes, that's what I need!
Although I'd name this field "language" rather than "country", but that's a detail.
As I understand, you made it by yourself, editing the code?
So changing to WF-Links won't resolve my problem?

I think it is because the editor intreprets every "enter" (going to a new line) as a "br" tag. So maybe you should input all the table code in one line.
Another solution could be unchecking option "interprete enter as br" (or similar), which I think I've seen somewhere in preferences, but I'm not sure where...

I have XOOPS 2.0.13.2 with default Mylinks 1.1
I want to add a little flag to every link, thus showing the language of the site.
First I thought I could use the screenshoot feature for this purpose (as I don't want to make screenshoots). But I have also some multilanguage sites in my database. But I see no way to add more than one image. And the fact of being multilanguage is quite an important element of the sites I link to.
Next I tried to put an "img src" tag into the description of every link, but it doesn't work; just shows the link, not the image.

So my question is:
can I somehow add more than one image to link's description?
Or maybe I should move to another links module? If so, which one enables adding more images (if any)?

I'll be thankful for any suggestions!

Look into Module Repository. There are a few of such modules there.

Thank you, Quest!
I didn't find this page by myself. Now I can make some more inquiry :)
(I still feel lost in all this world of support, development, and fan pages of Xoops... not to mention versions, updates, changes etc of modules. Too much of welfare ;))

newbb2 to cbb - problems after upgrading

I've just upgraded from newbb2 to cbb1.15, and immediately I've noticed some problems.

There is something wrong with displaying the date of posting. Instead of day and month (let's say 4/5) it shows: "YEurope/BerlinstEurope/Berlinrday". But not in all of the posts. I think that only in the newest ones (or maybe only in those I've entered in after upgrading?)
I've checked if my global time zone pref. or something got changed, but no, it looks (in main preferences page) that it's ok.
I've updated the System module, and it fixed another problem - wrong displaying of the home page's blocks.
But this strange text in date of posts is still there.

Could anyone explain it to me? And give some advices what can I do to fix it? I'd be thankful!
(Xoops version is 2.0.13.2)

Can I make the forum to display active links to every particular post? Like it is in this forum here.
Now I have only topics' links active, replies have titles and numbers displayed but with no link under.
I couldn't find it anywhere.
Will be grateful for any help.
I have Newbb2.02, XOOPS 2.0.13.2
