i am wondering if it is possible to remove the submit part of the news module?
What i am looking to do is use the news module for me to post current news and updates. But i don't want users to be able to submit news articles.
As it's listed in the main menu, when you click the news link, it opens 2 sub-menu's... Submit and Archive. I just want to remove the Submit listing, but i'm not sure if it can be done or which file to edit.

Thank You.

I've just started using XOOPS and love it. The ease of use is great. I have already used it for a customers website. Currently i am working on a new design for my companies site and would like to use Xoops. It has everything we need and then some.

My questionis regarding the login box. If i go into the admin panel and hide it, i have no way of logining in. Our site isn't going to be one where people can sign up, post, etc. Basiclly it's going to be an information protal style site.

Is there away to hide the login box from viewers, but still be able to login to make changes when needed?

Thanx in advanced.
