I know this has been asked a gudzillion times and am sorry to have to ask again, even after searching i can;t find a clear explaination.
I would like to add a link to the main menu that is actually a hyperlink -- click it and the (target is blank) and opens a different page away from my site. I have online registrations at a secure site -- members are asking for a link to it on the main menu. Thank greatly in advance for any help,

Thank you for the lead on what was going on, I copied the head from default and everything seems fine now. Again thank you as it pushed me in the right direction.

can you please look at the code here and teel me what is missing -- I have checked and rechecked-- they look the same except for the css style in the header. Couls thisbe it? I have even copied from a working index the head info to the current one -- still same thing. -- Maybe because its in a subfolder -- add on domain? Actually bought domain and it splits the site Shares space and bandwidth etc...-- cant see that being it but who knows at this point lol--- thank you again,

Ty -- I will update my IE but still doesnt explain firefox not responding at all -- different browsers. Also on a side note, I have the same version running a different site and it works great. Same version , same server, same browsers. I have also tried it on all 4 pcs in my network and I get the same thing.
The only difference is the theme.

I get a little shield on the bottom left in IE and the following error on the index page when trying to access the "more" link in the whos online block.
(( firefox doesnt show anything -- it just doesnt respond))

How about changeing the db prefix to a diff one than the original ? same db different tables !!
to share the db can't you make mainfile.php info the same?

howdy all,
I just wanted to chime in as noone seems to be thinking of "selling websites". All the revune you speak of is from vistors etc to a site. I currently run 2 sites using XOOPS and a make $1000 a year from each.($2000 /yr) One is for a quarter midget racing club and the other for a youth soccer org. The 1/4 midget site only runs 4 months a year lol so updates are minimal any other time. The soccer site runs 2 months then not then 2 months so really there isnt alot of updates for either.
Thanks for the chance to post -- I heard noone mention selling sites lol only making money off theirs. Soory -- I was thinking outside the box lol
