Let me see if I understand you right - you made a custom 404 error that redirects users from one place to another page, and it works in Firefox but not IE? Can you paste the redirect code and i'll see if it works for me?

Thanks for the replies. I checked on the developers site but couldn't find anything about it in either the bug reports or the forums. I posted something there though, so i guess i'll just have to wait and see.

If this doesn't work, can anyone recommend a decent alternative?

I am using the excellent wf-downloads module (version 3.1) and I have a question about category listings. I have 1 category - "projects" that has a sub-category called "bash", and "bash" has a sub-category called "alpha". I have a file listed for download in the alpha sub-category. However, on the main download page (the index), where it lists the categories - it shows the "projects" parent category as having 0 files listed. The files are there, the download works, it just shows the parent category as having 0 downloads available. Is this because it is listed 2 sub-categories down? Is there any way to make it show up? It's kind of confusing to visitors, because they go to the download section and see a folder labled as having zero downloads, so they think nothing is there. If worse comes to worse, I suppose I could just hack the template apart to not show any number at all, but I don't want to if I don't have to.

Does anyone know what happened to Xoopstuner and his site? I just went there and it said "domain suspended" (http://www.xoopstuner.com)

I hope everything is cool - he has (had?) some of the cleanest, coolest themes.

Xoopstuner: if it's a hosting problem let me know - i'll hook you up.

Wiki modules are driving me crazy! I've tried pretty much all of them, and there has been something wrong with all of them. Right now, i'm *attempting* to use wiwimod (on XOOPS 2.2.4 ), but i can't get any of the other editors to work with it (namely koivi). I set it in the wiwimod preferences, but i can't get it to show up right. It just shows up like this - without any buttons.
Anyone else run into this?

Thanks - that worked perfectly. I apparently never entered it right. The only problem I'm having now is that instead of downloading the file, it opens in the browser as text. Granted it can just be copied and pasted and saved as "Install" or "Install.sh", but that just seems really inefficiant and awkward to me. Maybe I'll just have to change the file type.

Anyway, thanks a ton

Thank you, I will try that. This is incredibly frustrating - apparently sh is an odd mimetype? (I hate mimetypes). This really is a cool module though.

I've been trying to use the module "wfdownloads" (version 2.05) - and for the life of me I can't get it to work right. What I need it to do is allow listings of Linux bash scripts, either with or without the extension ".sh". It won't let me upload them - it keeps telling me that "mimetype application/octetstream not permitted", even though I specifically attempted to allow files with the .sh extension. I've been trying for the past couple days, and it's not working. All I want is to let users download shell scripts. I love the module and it seems to have every feature I think I could ever need. But I can't upload the files. I tried working around the problem by using a dummy file with an extension of .txt then changing it to the bash script later - but now it just prints it out as if it were just a text file. Has anyone ever run into this before? If someone knows what to do, I'd be eternally grateful.
