Ok thats a bit indepth for me mate.. as dumb as it may sound am I counting 128 lines down from the top of the POST.PHP file??

And just to let you all know. A user has just told me that they have just had the INVALID SUBMISSION error while trying to post. So it is still occurring

Yes thats the one but obviously other members of XOOPS have asked me to look at other areas aswell.. tripmon today asked me to repair the database

Thats the thing peterr, users were not even returning to even try. I have a few users that have come back over the past few days to try and one being a close friend has to hit submit nearly 30 times until it eventually posts

I'll have to check with some users mate. I dont seem to have a problem posting when I am on my laptop at work (which I am now) but when at home it happens constantly.

To be honest with you mate... no I didnt.. only thing I saw in read was the words Empty & Drop.
Hope I get to the bottom of this as its really starting to make my site look awful and unadministered

Ok please ignore the above.. I have found what you meant.
I have clicked repair table and then get taken to another screen with Msg Type = status and Msg Text = OK
Am I right in saying it has done the repair?

Thanks tripmon, I am using phpmyadmin but cant see any option for repair. I select the database the put a tick next to xoops_sessions and then hit Operations from the top right but that takes me to a page that has no repair option....
