First of dummy me was using the fresh install version rather than the upgrade version. So after I downloaded the right zip file to go from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1..............the checksum only showed;

\class\mail\phpmailer\language\phpmailer.lang-fo.php was invalid

But I still got the weird text showing. So I tried the admin.php from the initial install of 2.3.0 and now no gibberish text...........but check sum fails for that file.

Ran checksum after replacing all the 2.3.0 files with the 2.3.2b files and of the 3285 files checked, they were all invalid.

When I ran upgrade, it said everything was ok and to remove files.

Kinda goofy. Still using the same old version of FileZilla, haven't upgraded it lately.

That's what I first did, was went right to 2.3.2b. Maybe the admin.php file is just messed up?

I restored the latest backup from my hosting company which took it back to 2.3.0. Everything was fine again. So I uploaded the 2.3.1 upgrade and it gets those strange texts on there again.

Must be something I am missing. Uploaded the files, ran the upgrade and updated modules. Before I even update the modules...........the weird text is already showing.

Wierd Text after update

Maybe I wasn't suppose to go direct from 2.3.0 to 2.3.2b???

Now I am getting text in the admin menu like;

_ad_th_navigation
_ad_th_modules

I reuploaded the language folder and updated the system module from the module menu.

Suggestions?

XCGAL - Changing what info shows....

I am trying to modify the static block so it doesn't show the Submitter name, but rather the user1 (Defineable) info.

Here is the code:

I thought by changing ($pic.caption) in both locations to ($pic.user1) it would change what gets displayed. Since both Caption and User1 are field names. But when I change it, the space is blank. When I change it back to "CAPTION" is goes back to normal.

Anyone have any thoughts?

SmartSection Blocks

Running SmartSection 2.14 on 2.3.1. On the Recent Articles Block, when logged in it shows the 5 most recent articles like I configured. When not logged it (ie Anonymous)......it only shows 1 recent article.

Anyone else running into this issue?

Login Name showing, not Display Name

Upgraded from 2.2.3 to 2.3.0 when 2.3.0 Final was released and instead of displaying all the users DISPLAY NAMES, it is displaying their LOGIN NAMES.

I've probably looked right over it, but where is the setting to change that? Cause in the 2.2.3 version that's how I had it.

I am currently using this theme for a club website. It has a space on the left side that I must be missing the part in the CSS where it is located. I want to try and minimize the space to the left.
