I tried modifying the banner code to display a 728 x 90 banner. The html modification does not seem to work.

If a simple modification code can 1) modify the banner I can use, this will be the most preferable option. However, if it can't be done, than the only option 2 would be to remove the banner code and replace it with an image.

So what is possible 1) or 2) ?

Ok I fix that problem. The files seem to have been moved to the wrong place. The homepage works now and I can login. However I can not finish the installation of the theme page.

What could be causing the final installation to failure?

Since the theme page is showing, something on the module end might be corrected.

I didn't think that I needed to add another module, since their is a default module and a modified one.

Yes. It is set to 777. but it still showing a blank page. I also ran a database repair several times. No problem stated. And I went as far as comparing each all the files that was uploaded to the server and everything loaded correctly. What could possibly be keeping it from going to the next step?

I can't even get to that menu. I'm still at themes. Is there something in the module directory that I should be looking for?

After your reply I have reviewed the release notes again and it looks like I needed to add a directory. The write permissions were all reset to 777 as indicated in the RN. But I'm still having the same problem. Clicking next takes me to a blank page. I'm one step (modules) in completing this installation.
