Greetings -

I was looking at the user administration area where you can add fields of your own, and need a bit more explanation.

If I wanted to add a "Country" field and wanted to provide a selection list for this country field, how would I go about doing it.

And how would I go about providing the list of countries to be used in that selection list.

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings Dave_L -

Thank you. That helped tremendously.

Do you know of the reasoning behind the change in fuctionality for the user adminstration between 2.0.13 and 2.3.3 ?

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings -

Before upgrading my sites I decided to create a new one using the 2.3.3a Final version and see what the diferences were and get a bit used to it.

I created the site in a local machine with no email so the user verification will never happen.

I registered a user and it failed. I logged in as the webmaster and attempted to activate the user by using the find users and found no way to do so. The only action I found available in the drop down was "Send Mail".

So I must of missed something.

Questions:

1) How do I activate a user if mail verification is not available?

2) How do I maintain and delete an user if I need to?

3) Is there some documentation that is available on this new version?

Thanks In Advance.

Greetings -

A good thing happened. I checked the download area where I keep my upgrades and my last solid release was "2.0.13"

So according to the files that are available, I need to do two upgrades:

1) 2.0.13 to 2.0.13.1

2) 2.0.13.1 to 2.2.3a-Final

It has been a while since I did an upgrade since XOOPS works with a minimal of problems. And I left myself an "bread crumb trail" of what I did last.

Sometimes, being paranoid is not such a bad thing.

Greetings Dave -

Thanks for the response.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks anyway.

I do not recall what the last version I installed was.

Will try to install .1 and .2 before I upgrade.

Ouch!

Greetings - Thank you.

Does that version number include the sub-release?

I have there "XOOPS 2.0.10". If I had the ".2" release would it say "XOOPS 2.0.10.2"?

Thank In Advance.
