Ah, I see. Thanks again, Herko...looks like I'm back to deciding whether to build my own custom registration page from scratch, or to edit the existing XOOPS log-in. Editing the registration section of XOOPS seems to be a popular topic in these forums. The best post I've run across here on that topic seems to be this:

I assume that's correct, it integrates into a database used by xoops, and asking for that specific script might be an option for some folks, but not me - the scripting is in .jsp, and ultimately, .asp, and the linux/apache server I'm on won't run that code. I'm looking instead for someone who has done something similar that works with XOOPS in php.

In this month's XOOPS newsletter, "Site of the Month":

https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=1524

Novell's XOOPS site is featured:

http://forge.novell.com/

This is a great example of a custom registration page. Are there any XOOPS hacks to do something along those lines?

Is there a way to change the layout of Agenda-X so each week in the grid runs from Sunday thru Saturday, as opposed to the default Monday thru Sunday? Most american calendars display a week starting on Sunday.

Has anyone created a custom registration page from scratch? Could I actually build a simple php registration form that will integrate with XOOPS and still send the e-mail verification to the new user?

Has anyone tried this module?

https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23504&forum=14&post_id=118046

It seems to work like regkeys, so I was wndering if maybe hacking one of these modules might be a solution?

How do I edit/hack this module (or the regkeys module) for registration sign-up so a new user can select from a group list? I want them to be able to sort themselves into a particular group on sign-up so later I can do custom mailings for each different user group. I have created the various groups in the admin, I just need to know how to get them to appear as a drop-down/select menu on sign-up. Assigning them keys or codes in advance doesn't work for my purposes because I don't know who these folks are beforehand, therefore I need them to select the group they want to be in.

Thanks.

The post from Ackbar seems a step in the right direction, but I'm still not clear what it is I am messing with here...the info posted here:

https://xoops.org/misc/api/kernel/form/XoopsFormSelectGroup.html

This seems like the solution, but I'm clueless about how to implement it.
