Re: Bulk users create

I had a look at the import_users file.

"$bdd" is your database name.

If you set $bdd to your XOOPS database, the database should be selected correctly and the script should work.

good luck!

Re: Bulk users create

Someone wrote a script to import members.

Have a look at this thread:

Re: Images NOT Displying in Custom Block

maybe you have to set the "smilies enabled" option in the drop down box when creating or editing a block...

Re: Delete Module

To delete a module:

1) Go to Admin>System>Modules
2) Uncheck the "Active" checkbox and submit the form.
3) Next, click the "Uninstall" icon for the module you want to uninstall
4) Then you can delete the module files from your modules folder on the webserver.

Re: user registration -- prefilled text box

You either have to either:
1)Leave out the default value or
2)Write some javascript to check the text area value is different from the default value when the user submits the form.

Re: Unzip a tgz file

1. Unzip the .tgz file to your local computer.
2. Find the main module folder from in the archive and upload it to your XOOPS modules folder on your webserver
3. Login as admin and go to System>Modules
4. Scroll down and click the "install" icon next to the module's icon that you uploaded.

Note: if you can't open the .tgz file, try using 7-zip. It's free and it should work.

Re: 2.2 Redirect template woes.

ah, sorry, I misunderstood the problem.

Basically, you're redirect page is showing up like a central block on the current page, not in it's own page.

You may want to have a look at GI-JOEs redirect hack.

It probably has the information you need.

Re: Edit user not working

It may help to clear your templates_c folder (cache) and update your system module (admin>modules>system)

Although it's not really necessary, it's a good idea to backup the DB and custom templates before updating the system module.

odd that PHP debug doesn't give any errors.

Did you try the other debug modes too? (smarty templates, MySQL etc...)
