I've recently downgraded to 2.0.13.2 from 2.2 because of an issue with 'novalid security token' error mesages. Everything on the site now seems to be working fine except the registration. I get the exact same thing -
Once the registration form is submitted the page directs to /register.php but is just blank. No details are submitted to the database so nobody can register.
Have you found a solution to it for the later versions?

Sorry about that m0nty, I actually WAS on a different threadhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=211913&topic_id=48284&forum=1 but I was recommended to go here to see if I could get more help.
No attempt to 'hijack' this thread as my initial query was in relation to the SQL error in PHP debug about sessions that I ws having:Quote:

Notice [PHP]: A session had already been started - ignoring session_start() in file include/common.php line 177

Anyway, I'm gonna keep looking for a solution - Take care...

Yes peterr, when you submit the new user registration form, you're redirected to register.php - which is blank. Details are not submitted to the database hence new members can't register right now.
I only turned on PHP Debug AFTER this issue came to my attention. I've now turned it back off and the problem persists.
I was under the impression that blank pages was to do with corrupt or incomplete PHP files so if this is merely a 'notice' and not an error, has anybody any idea what might be causing the blank page?

No I don't use domain forwarding. I've actually downgraded to 2.0.13.2 now. What a nightmare that was but at least I have more functionality now...

I have sessions turned off on my site but I'm getting this error message in PHP debug:Quote:

version 2.0.13.2
common.php seems fine - any idea what might be causing this?

I'm using cookies and I have custom sessions turned off. I don't really know how either of these work so I don't know how to figure out what's going wrong.

Choose groups at registration

I need to allow users to select which groups their registration will be attached to. This is to facilitate e-mail notices to relevant groups.
Can anyone tell me how I can do this? I'm presuming it's a hack on register.php but it needs to be reflected in the e-mail to the administrator as all new accounts on this site will have to be verified by Administrators / Moderators first.
Any ideas?
