Actually I hired someone and they took the cash and ran so far. I got tired of waiting and empty promised I just converted it myself to fit my new needs. Not as hard as I once thought.

It is now set up for a baseball / softball team roster.

I have a module and there is info i do not want to publicly share. I want to show it if the user is logged in only.

do you know the template code for "IF user logged in show <td>show if logged in</td>else skip / end

How far have you gotten on this? Do you have a demo site yet? I want it modified for a sports team (Softball / Baseball) also.

I modified xRoster and I broke the Application part of it. It will not submit the form. I am pretty sure it is something simple. Just wondering if someone can take a look at it? Willing to pay to have it fixed.

Please send me a PM

Thank you

Ok figured it out and this is how I did it.

I created two Topics Club and News

I set Club to be displayed on main page
I set News Not to be displayed on main page

I set up the block of Recent News to Display bottom center
I set this block to only show "News"

I changed all the old news reports topic to News and set the one I wanted on the main page to Club.

Now I just have to remember when posting any new News I set the topic to News.

Thanks for your suggestion Mamba, it made me thinkn and tinker with it until I got the result I was looking for.

Thanks Again

thank you for the suggestion. I tried it and the blocks change the look and feel of the main page.

Is there a way to set "Welcome" news post always on top and main page so when I write new news it will just create a link in the Recent News Block I have below?

Hi Everyone,

I normally use News as my main page however on this latest site we do not want the main page to change, yet we still want a News section. Maybe a New box below the main content that does not change. The main page would be our mission statement and that is why we do not want it to change.

What would be the best way to set this up? What should I use to get this going?

Thank you for all your help
