Hmm.

My fix was for the Content Module version 0.45 - maybe the location that Fckeditor is trying to save the files is different in other versions?

Better late than never, just noticed this thread.

Add me to the "xoops women" list, I have several sites using this wonderful CMS, and you probably guessed from my username that I'm female, although not really a koala.

Calendar with notifications

Hi all,

I posted this in the general module usage questions forum but had no reply so I guess this feature does not exist yet.

What I am looking/hoping for, is a Calendar Module where a user can add a certain event to their notifications list, and they will receive a notification for that particular event, whenever they have chosen to receive it (i.e. ten minutes before, one hour before, three days before etc).

Is anyone perhaps working on something like this?

Thanks in advance,

KK

What exactly is bothering you about the site? I mean, I can see bits that I would change, but are you looking for design advice, or do you know how you want it to look but can't quite get the theme to do as it's told?

If it's design comments you are after, I must say that there's one specific change rom the original imago06 theme that's kind of hurting my eyes; the change from the darker, muted blue to that bright blue. It doesn't fit the colour scheme any more. If you are dedicated to that bright blue then maybe a complete change of the site's colour scheme will be required, which means more splashing around in the style.css file.

I hope that helps!

Hi all,

I'm hoping I've posted this in the right place, but if there is no solution to my request then I guess this thread needs to be moved to the Module Requests forum.

What I am looking for, is a Calendar Module where a user can add a certain event to their notifications list, and they will receive a notification for that particular event, whenever they have chosen to receive it (i.e. ten minutes before, one hour before, three days before etc). Like the Yahoo Groups calendar does.

I am seeing modules where you can receive notification when any new event is posted, and you can bookmark particular events but they don't send any kind of notification.

Can anyone recommend a module that will do this?

Thanks in advance,

KK

Is it worth creating a separate category in the Module Repository for modules that have been tested and are definitely working with 2.2? Or posting an official list somewhere?

Hi everyone,

After a hair-raising journey around the internet searching up hill and down dale for an answer to this question, I thought I would post the answer I eventually found in the hope that it will help others.

Problem: When trying to add images when editing pages in the (otherwise FANTASTIC!) Content module, you see an empty, nameless directory which will not let you upload any images or add a new folder.

Question: Where is fckeditor looking, and where is it trying to put the images??

Answer: In your XOOPS site root, create a folder called UserFiles. Beneath that, create a folder called Image. CHMOD the Image folder to 777 and all should be well.

I found lots of answers on the internet which involved mucking about in a pile of incomprehensible code which left me far more confused than when I began so hopefully this is a plain english solution that will be of some use to other non-coders like me.

Re: C-jay Content: how to edit menu block?

Thank you, but still no luck. I have:

Updated the module
Updated it again (well you never know!)
Deleted all the files in templates_c
Cloned the template set
Deleted the cloned template set

Then I noticed that the block in question does not appear in the default template set, but a "yellow" version appears when you clone the template set.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the module and nothing has changed so I am still stumped. Any advice is very welcome!

Cheers,
KK

C-jay Content: how to edit menu block?

Hi all,

I am stumped. I am wanting to edit the c-jay content menu block (the one that appears as a second menu), but can't find where to edit it.

In the admin menu, going to System > Blocks and clicking Edit only gives the basic options, not editing the template.

Going to System > Templates, the "cjcontent_block.html" is yellow and when I try to clone it I get an error message "Selected Block Does Not Exist".

Trying to manually edit that block (modules/cjaycontent/templates/blocks/cjcontent_block.html) by downloading it, editing the code and uploading it has no effect.

HELP??

[addendum: tried editing the cjcontent_block.html file and then updating the module (yes, just trying ANYTHING now) and this did not work either.]
