Sure, you could just add the anonymizer IP addresses to the IP filter settings in the main XOOPS settings.

However, I would suggest restricting forums to registered users and ban users individually instead of banning a whole anonymizer IP. Anonymity is a right - not a crime!

I don't know if you have ever reported bugs via the bug-tracker in the Module Dev Forge, but I think it would be great if more people used this resource.

Yes, I did. But if you take a look at the wordpress page on dev.xoops.org, you will see, I am the only one who entered a bug there and there never was a reply.

The point is that in my view, everyone should be thanking phppp for his consistent efforts.

And the point in my view is that everybody should know he will be installing a module with virtually no support.

There are numerous other bugs that I have detected, but I stopped reporting them because phppp doesn't react anyway.

No matter what he has done for the community in the past, I don't think it's a good way to work - and I am simply expressing my opinion about it. I am sorry that I can not be enthusiastic about ignoring bug reports.

Why don't you look into that folder? The biggest part is an IP-to-country file. This file is not necessary for the module to work. If it is there, a flag of the country of the user's IP address will be displayed.

Download them and try, thats the correct way to choose the most suitable one.

I would recommend downloading piCal directly from the author's website http://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/ instead of downloading it from the old, non-maintained xoops.org download respository.

piCal has been developed for a very long time now and - more important - is still being maintained by the author.

I use it for a very long time and didn't encounter any critical bugs yet. I would definetly recommend this to be the standard calendar application for Xoops.

Look for a module called xm-memberstats. It provides (among other things) a block with the number of registered users.

Very nice idea

Concerning the permissions: I would like to have fine permissions (permissions on individual albums, at least permissions on categories).

Moreover it would be nice to have moderators who can decide which pictures (uploaded by users or guests) are made public. Please add a notification system when pix have been uploaded.

Also, categories / albums where a user has NO permissions on must be invisible to him completely.

Nice features would be:

- most downloaded, best rated pictures (as in Coppermine) in the current album, current category and in the whole gallery
- most recent comments (same scope)
- easy upload via browser and batchupload via FTP; URI-upload (take pictures from URLs)
- various blocks (random pics, most recent pics, most popular pics, best rated pics, statistics (top uploader, most popoular pics list, best rated pics list)
- handle GIF files
- handle movie files
- configurable thumbnail sizes

I think this is it for now...

As the author of the module and other modules you also complained, I expect your respect for my past in-time contribution and helpful help.

I am sorry, but I will write down my point of view whenever somebody asks for certain modules.

Your modules are brilliant, but my bugreports are not the only ones you simply don't answer.

I think this is an important point when it comes to the question "do I install this or that module" and support should be taken into consideration.

Whatever the reason is: It's a fact, you don't answer bug reports. Sorry to say that.
