Thats right!! I remember it was working on my previous site. I thought it might have been a database issue so I uninstalled the module/reinstalled... same thing. Now I have to add all the artists profiles again!!!! Man, I feel really stupid now. I overlooked the obvious

The site has has the XOOPS maintenance login. Which probably means he is re-doing his site, hopefully the discography module also! Are you still using the discography module? I am having problems with the website url's (does not display correctly); also I cannot add "Discs". Dont have the option in the module. How do I add "Discs" and "Lyrics"??? OH, what is your site url??

thanks in advance,

There has not been any updates/recent activities with this module. Band url's links do not display correctly, as well as some of the excellent features that are in this module. Does anyone know who I can contact to get an update on this module? The link that I have is http:www.zona84.com , apparently the site is closed. Should I try to do fix this myself?

I am trying to implement a rating/voting system for my site, www.radioiv.com , Can someone please tell me how XOOPS knows if a user is logged in. What does it look for?
(i.e., in phpBB, it looks for something similar to this, i think, if ($userdata['user_id'] == 0) as not logged in)
What does XOOPS use?

Question about Debaser

When someone uploads their mp3's (new artists) using "debaser", is it possible to change the upload path to my local server. This will eliminate using my hosts bandwith, both uploading and during playback. Does anyone know which file I would need to edit. Im "almost" certain it can be done with a littel "tweeking".

One more Question:
Is there a way to modify the welcome screen that you see after someone logs in? (Thank you for logging in! (screen))

I am trying to implement a feature where users have to register in order to request songs or vote. How/What files in XOOPS check this? What is the code that I need to add?

This is my site, www.RADIOIV.com "New Artist Radio", I have integrated SAM2 broadcaster using iframes(playing, playlist, requests, schedule) I have also added band profiles (presskits) using the "Discography" module, which is very buggy but made it work somehow. I would like to also add a rating/voting system (users vote on songs/bands); Also have a way that bands can post their own band profiles as well.

(Thanks for the reply.. sorry for the late response)
Bands/Artists send me their info (mp3's,presskits, etc...), which I keep on "My" local server, not the hosts. I am looking for a way that visitors can "vote" on artists/songs, including what is currently playing. As far as the flash, YEa, I agree... it should be linking to something else. Now that you mention it, I am linking it to my sites contact form.

How do I move my XOOPS site from one host to another? What do I need to backup and transfer?

RADIO IV is still very new. The flash portion is an advertisement. Site content is going to change, as well as the forums, I added phpbb because I was trying to do an integration to a rating/voting system which required it, but couldnt get it to work. While im on that subject, does anyone know how I can implement a ration/voting system for songs from new artists?
