Hello people,

I'm preparing for a move towards PHP5.
When I access my site on my local XAMPP, with PHP 5.2.5, I get the following message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare WfsArticle::$groupid in D:\Xampp\htdocs\trauma\stnn\modules\wfsection\class\wfsarticle.php on line 89

On that line I read:
var $groupid = '1 2 3';

A while ago I upgraded to WFSections 2.07 because this version was supposed to be PHP 5 ready.
Now this seems to be not the case.
From version 2.07 it is NOT possible to upgrade to SmartSections 2.13, so now I'm stuck.

Any help or advice would be appreciated !!

Thx in advance and kind greetings,

Thx guys, that did the trick.
I did delete the categories I wanted to delete via/through the admin area, and I assumed it would delete all albums that the categories contained.
This is apparently not the case.
I see no way to delete seperate albums through admin area (did I miss something??) so the database "operation" helped me out.

Thanks for your help and greetings,

[Edit]
Ah, now I see: you have to delete albums through the admin modus on the webpages themselves !!!
I'll try this when I clean up my albums next year !!

Good morning!

I'm running XC Gal 2.03 and I'm very satisfied with it.
Recently I deleted some albums because I used too much webspace.

So far so good.
Only thing is that the block Static Miniatures does not "understand" that certain albums have been deleted.
It keeps trying to display small miniatures of albums that don't exist, with a 'red cross' as result.
Cache is set as 'no'cache'.

Anyone have a clue??

Thx in advance and greetings,

And let us know if all went well.
If not, I'll upload my XCGal.

I have "the original" 2.0.3 which works quite well!

Success and grtz,

I have had some blank pages as well in the past, but I found out that it has to do with the number and size of the photo's:
when you have many pictures (I saw 75 pictures in 1 of your albums), and also of a big size, then your server gets too busy with the pictures.

I solved this by putting max. 20 pics in 1 time in an album, AND be 100% sure to wait till you have the little blue pics on the right that say "Done" or "OK".

I'm not sure if this is a problem of the module, or of my (and your) server, or that it's logical that this happens with large (amount of) pictures, but I've learned to live with it.
It's a great module apart from that!

Well, I could use a cold beer right now!!

Greetz,

[Edit] What theme do you use btw, is it a public one or a self made? [/Edit]

Upload a dir with photoos to modules/xcgal/albums/userpics.
CHMOD this dir 777.
Log in and go to module page.
Make a new album.
Go to module administration from xcgal.
Go to batch upload.
Select your uploaded dir.
Select your new created album.

Click insert.
Be patient for a little while (depends on the amount of photoos).

Enjoy !!

This is how it works for me (see www.trauma-nursing.nl under "Cursufoto's").

Success and greetz,

Same for me Will, but I'm used to that...
FF is always much faster than IE, but today I also have long page load times in FF as well.
This one lasted approx. 20 sec.
