I always change the name of the html folder to whatever I want my site to be called. You could change 'html' to 'content' or 'mysite', and upload just that folder.

Lost pet module...

I am currently looking for an existing module or a new module that would do the following:

1. Allow users to go online and search their community for lost and found pets.
2. There would be a lost section, and a found section.
3. Posts would include a photo, and a breif description of the pet.

Anything out there like this? There are several sites out there that are national, but I am wanting to make one only for local users.

See:

http://pets.lostandfound.com

Looking forward to feedback from anyone...

I had the same problem.

First comment showed up, but a reply to that comment made all of them disappear. I finally disabled comments on it...

Not currently using the module anymore, but hope the dev continues.

I don't see a "Design and Credits" link anywhere. I would like to see credit given to someone if their work was used as well.

Nice design, nice site. Personally not gay, so that will be the last visit for me. :)

This applies to the built-in Downloads module as well. Screenshots lead to the download instead of the larger screenshot. You can always work around it by posting your own linked thumbnails directly in the site description, but it would be nice to have it changed...

XOOPS can handle it. Very good stuff. Very stable.

Your host probably didn't do that just because. Are you sure you didn't have a ton of e-mails flying through your site?

If they did do it globally, I'd sure has heck change providers. That's really not a good sign...

There are also several threads I've found for changing servers/providers. I can't be that hard can it?

I would be very interested in a great document management system like this as well...

I can't program it but I can sure break it for you and give you excruciating bug lists. :)

And which module is jan's? Linkage?

I really didn't have to change much. I think the "Soapbox" title and intro are found in the languages folder of the module directory. I just changed them both to more match my site.

Other than that, I just had to figure out exactly what I wanted to do, and how to type all that stuff into the module to get it to work.

The only complaints I have (which might be fixed in the newer versions), is that the images appear a bit funky on the articles page, and that you can't really do much other than type a paragraph or two if you want it uniform. The html tags and stuff always inserted extra <br>'s everywhere.
