You can just make a custom block, stick your static html in it, weight it to "0", call it "Welcome", set it for center block - center, and off you go. At least that's what I did to have a static welcome page to sit above some other blocks on my news start page. It works.

I went one step further. I set that welcome block to be visible only to anonymous folks, and when the users log in, the welcome box disappears, another one visible only to registered users takes its place, and the rest of page stays the same. I love this group permissions thing a lot! lol

My solution, albeit probably not the best one, was to do away with the main menu altogether and make two new ones using custom blocks. I just wrapped them from html into the block, used my theme's CSS for consistency, and it worked out fine. Now, when I want to add a new menu item, I just edit my html file, put the item where I want it, and copy it to my custom block for that menu area.

I have four blocks now, just using one of the old ones as a template when I make a new one. Like I said, maybe not the most elegant way, but very effective for me.

I, too, would be most interested in how this turns out. I was sort of wondering about this the other day when I was working on some FAQs in the core FAQ module. My dilemna became whether, and how, to switch over to WF-FAQ and how difficult it would be to migrate my existing FAQs. That's about as far as I got, though.

Not saying this is your problem, but it could possibly be your firewall. You might try this link here to see if any of this info might help. I had similar problems and it solved mine.

Yes, that's precisely what happens when accessing my webmail front. They would see all three options. I thought that might be a bit confusing and that they might be put off by it, but you may be right in letting them choose.

If your users have had no problems with accessing the front end and choosing between the three, then maybe I was over-thinking the issue. Like I've never done THAT before! hehe

Okay, this may sound like a dumb question but which of these three would any of you consider to be the one to use? My Cpanel only gives me these three to use for webmail. I've always been a POP3 kind of guy letting everything come down into Outlook (went to Thunderbird recently), so I am not too up-to-date on web-based email other than whether I can dump email into my email client.

What I am doing is setting up web-based email accounts for family and a few close friends, that will be accessible from my site and will open into a full window through a javascript. And it doesn't matter whether any of them are ported into XOOPS already. (I had a few irritating problems with Sqmail for XOOPS so I abandoned that idea).

I know there are other email apps, but these are the three I must choose among. Any input would be most welcome. Thank you in advance.

iMenu is one of the ones that won't work for me in 2.0.6 as well. Neither will MultiMenu and a few others I can't recall at the moment. In fact iMenu won't even show up.

That's where I put it but I wasn't sure whether that's the only place it needed to be. Thanks for the reply.

I've seen that area, and have used it, but I want to insert a new meta tag that isn't listed in all those standard ones. Those are hard coded tags like keywords, description, robots, author, etc. I don't see a place to put completely new tags.

The tag I am talking about is a completely different tag so I think I need to insert into a page somewhere. I am just not sure where. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
