Thanks, I'll do that.

I searched quite a bit around the BBpixel site, but I didn't find any information regarding this.

Yes, I know IPB2 is commercial, I have a license for it. There is an sdk for IPB2, so I was just wondering whether anyone did something with the login for this vs Xoops, which would simplify things quite a bit.

But I guess not, I'll try to find the time to look into it myself if noone has something useful in the area.

I was wondering if anyone did this or would like to do it. I have a IPB 2.0.3 forum and a XOOPS 2.0.10 site which I'd very much like to get away with one set of groups, one place to set permissions, one login, etc..

I know BBpixel has an integrated IPB, but that's 1.x and not what I'm looking for. I like my IPB 2.0.x forum.

Anyone know anything, would be much appreciated.

I think the site width is fine. In 800 width you get the main site, all you need to scroll sideways for is the google ads.

It's a good way to deal with low res monitors if you have a google adbar on the side.

I can't see your foglio.de site now, due to maintenance, so I can't comment on your new theme, Michael.

Well, I check it in IE6 sp2, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Anyhow, the a{ didn't do the trick either. No background for me. Actually, when I put the a{ reference in there it disappeared in IE too.

So I'm stumped. Basically.

That worked very well, thanks a lot.

I thought you had to use the @import url function to retrieve multiple css files, but I guess that isn't so.

Thank you very much indeed!

Well, it sorta came with the theme, StudioC, that I've based the site on, and I like the less complexity thing within each of it.

I tried doing it like you suggested above, but I had no luck with it. Care to make me an example out of that? Would be much appreciated.

Question:

How would I go about doing this if I'm using more than one css. I'd only have to change one of them tho, my css import looks like this:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
@
import url("<{$xoops_imageurl}>style.css");
@
import url("<{$xoops_imageurl}>blocks.css");
@
import url("<{$xoops_imageurl}>modules.css");
-->
</
style>

Only need to substitute the style.css with a style1024 or something.

Hi,

I have used StudioC's example of a CSS theme and edited to my liking.

Thanks to StudioC for the excellent runthrough and theme! Two thumbs up!

But I have a problem; I try to get the 'sublinks' show with a grey bg color. I'm doing it like this:

#menulinks {

font12px/15px VerdanaArialHelveticasans-serif;

margin0px 5px 20px 0px;

padding0px;

widthauto;

background-color transparent;

floatleft;
}

#menulinks ul, #menulinks li {

displayinline;
    list-
stylenone;

margin0px;

padding0px;
}

#menulinks li a, #menulinks li a:hover, #menulinks li a:active {

displayblock;

text-decorationnone;

color#0867b3;

background-colortransparent;

margin0px 0px 1px 0px;

padding2px 5px 2px 2px;

border-right6px solid #0867b3;

text-alignright;

width 120px;

font-weightnormal;
}

#menulinks li a:hover, #menulinks li a:active {

border-right6px solid #808080;

color#808080;

text-decorationunderline;
}

#menusublinks {

font-size0.8em;

background-color#EEEEEE;
}

And it shows up fine with the grey background in IE, but not in Firefox?

Any help appreciated.

You can see the site here. There's sublinks in the 'Nyheter' section (News), so you see it right away if you try to use ie/firefox.

Did you set the "Update theme-files from the themes/ folder" to "yes" in system admin/preferences/general?

Not sure if that's the fully correct name in English since my XOOPS install is in Norwegian, but you hopefully get the picture.

If you don't the templates_c folder won't be updated and your XOOPS caches the files there for viewing. That would also be the reason why your changes didn't take effect when you did them.
