What is the latest Message Forum?
I am using CBB 3.07 and want to upgrade.

Is it possible for me to easily upgrade to X-Fourm

YES the "View all topics" is what I am looking for; however I think the lable on that could be clearer, but I have no idea what it should be. In my opinion "View all topics" and "Recent Replied Topics" are the best way to browse a Message Forum. There is a slight difference between the two and I still maintain that there should be a option added for "View Recent Replied Topics" in the Topic Options. Visit my site for an example of what I mean by "Recent Replied Topics" (the name is misleading becuase even the new topics without replies are posted) at www.jclist.com any input is apprecaited.

On another subject could someone please tell me what a Digest is and how to use it.

The point that we are making is it would be nice to add a link to the Message Forum to display the Newest or Today's new post by topic or subject line. Not just the "unread"; a link to "Recent Replied Topics" would be appreciated.

I would like to make the same request as le130. If you look at vBulletin there is a "Todays Posts" link at the top that displays exactly the same "Recent Replied Topics" on CBB.

The output of "View New Posts" in CBB is useless, so why not change it to display the same output as "Recent Replied Topics".

On the audio tab instead of allowing upload of files please consider integrating with the audio player on this site: www.seeqpod.com

seeqpod.com is just like youtube.com; you can embed an audio player using their embed code.

I hope there will be an option to turn this tab off?

irmtfan

My plugin.php has exactly those parameters and my CBB is version 3.0.7

In the link you provided it says:
"but deleted topics with posts delete from db"

My topic had replies so I guess it is gone.

I do not want to go to my backup because it is a few days old and that would mean loosing other stuff.

I accidentally deleted an entire topic in my CBB Message Forum and need to restore it. I know there is a simple proceedure for restoring individual posts but I have not figured out how to restore entire topics.

Also, is there official documentation for CBB ?

I am looking athttp://www.futurehosting.biz/vps.htm as mentioned here but want to compare it to Hosting Zoom VPS;http://www.modvps.com/vps-hosting.html

Hosting Zoom includes eAccelerator which I understand improves performance and speed. Are there other factors to consider? Hosting Zoom VPS said they would transfer my sites for me since I use cPanel/WHM. Speed is important to me as I have active sites. Also I have had problems with shared hosting not allowing persistant connections. Could someone please evaluate these 2 VPS options and let me know which may be better for XOOPS sites. Thank You
