Editor framework provides users simple way to use several editors on their forms (You can see an example with newbb2 "Select your desired form type").

Now I'm doing parallel work, updating Koivi and triyng to help with the editor framework.

In next XOOPS versions, the editor framework will be totally implemented and you wont need to hack any file to use koivi or other wysiwyg editor.

By now, editor framework is only for testing purpouses, I think there are some form example and you can see how to implement it.

Firefox is based on Mozilla, Netscape 8 is based on Firefox 1.0.

All of this wysiwyg editors work in Mozilla 1.4 and upper so they must run with Moz, Netscape and Firefox without problems.
Safari doesn't support the designmode.

I'll try to expand the Firefox tests, but Spaw needs some developement to work well under Gecko browsers.

Hi, I'm Samuels the XK_Editor(koivi) developer.
I've written a comparison between some popular wysiwyg editors:
Spaw
XK_Editor (koivi)
HtmlArea
FckEditor
TinyMce

You can download the document here:

Make sure you press the image button Resized Image when you're inside imagemanager dialog.

If it still doesn't run for you, tell me your internet explorer and os version, and I'll make some tests.

Yes, it is.
I commented the original checkbrowser function cause I had a lot of problems with strange firefox versions under linux.

If they return me a rare version number is very difficult to know if browser is really comp or not.
While I improve the checkBrowser function you can use 1.051 with the old checkbrowser function.
Sorry for that
