All the categories have anonymous access already, but downloads are not visible to anonymous users (they can browse categories, but categories are shown as empty for anonymous).

I posted this question yesterday in official wf-downloads forum, but still no answer... Hope anyone will know an answer here ;)

How could I change download permissions via MySQL database directly (by running sql command or changing some values)? What parameter in which table/field must be changed?

I want downloads to be accessible not only to admin/registered members, but to anonymous as well. And I can't use XOOPS Admin Panel to select downloads (which permissions I want to change), because my directory contains over 15.000 downloads and browser gets timeout (or stops responding) each time I'm trying to do it.

Any ideas are very very welcome

Well, actually I do not need to use this on recent News block, as I'm not using this bnlovk at all. I just need to place my content on News index page

I have an idea about making some changes on my website, but don't know if it's possible.

Okay, enough chit-chat, let's get the job done. I'm using XOOPS News module (1.3) and displaying 10 articles on news index page. Is it possible to add specified content below specified article?

For example:

News1
News2
News3
News4
News5
MYCONTENT
News6
News7.....

Any ideas are more than highly welcome!

I believe that it should be custom hosting plans.

For example I want to have little space and much bandwidth.

Or I want to have much space much bandwidth but no the other features like subdomains databases etc

This would be nice cause someone would pay for that things he would use and not for useless services.

I see hosting plans with 70$ annual with 2gb or more disk space but I dont need such thing. I prefer to pay 30$ annual for 200mb

I agree, just several hosting companies offer custom packages...

And $30 per year for 200 MB space is too expensive, I believe.

Hehe. Our customer may install XOOPS in few clicks, it's pre-installed already ;)

Thanks Rudix!

Actually, we offer such a similar service already :) It means, that resellers can re-send us questions/trouble reports from their customers and our team will provide prompt answers.

I really appreciate your time to give me some tips.

...of hosting companies. What would you do first? I'm interested about this, because I want to know what customers want, so we may offer exactly what they want.

For example, we offer stndard hosting accounts and reseller accounts (for those, who want to start their own webhosting business), give some very nice features to our clients (free domain reseller account, $5 Kanoodle credit, professional templates/logos/icon, assitance transferring accounts from old host, etc), we offer 24/7 phone support (of course, helpdesk and knowledgebase options are available as well) and our customers are happy, but I still believe we can make hosting services better free of charge.

What would you like to get from hosting company yet?

MyAlbum Template Problems

Hi there,

I'd like to know if I'm the only who have problems with MyAlbum templates?

The problem is, that I can't get Google Ads to be displayed in MyAlbum pages. I know the code is good itself (as iot works in all other modules) and I place it into the right place (because if I add just simple text instead of Adsense script, this text is displayed very well).

The URL ishttp://www.club-rover.com/modules/myalbum/

I want to place Google Ads on MyAlbum module, because I get thousands of visitors from "Google Images Search" and it would be nice to monetize this traffic a little, cause images use lots of bandwidth...
