arjanv:

Either put your logo in your theme folder and use <img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.jpg" alt="Design by" border="0" /> or create a folder called images within your theme folder and place your logo in that folder, take your pick!

Haisam:

http:// fill in your site name /modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups

Did you exactly use your domainname? Otherwise i can imagine that it won't work... Maybe your running a test website on your localhost then the address would look like this...

http://localhost/modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups

haisam:

your answer is not so difficult, just do a little search as i did:

http://www.yoursite.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups

use that link and update all your groups and permissions...don't change the permissions, just click on the groups you have and then the submit button.

Eldezar:

Editing the files in the /templates_c/ folder is not recommended because this is the cache folder for all the pages and the files get overwritten by time to time.

But you where very close in solving your problem: look at answers in the following forum topic: HTML Links - How to?

ahmad:

you did adjust the permissions in IIS but also have to do that at file or directory level...at least thats my experiance...

Go to your windows explorer, rightclick on mainfile and the tree dirs...look for tab security, ect, ect.

I've actually changed the user input and editing forms already to include a 'choose your country' pull down list (which is populated from xoopslists).

What do you store in the DB?
example: Netherlands or NL

Andrew:

This is maybe possible but requires more than than you probably think.

First of all you have to ask your users to always fill in the "user_from" field. This is an option which has to be implemented into the contact form.

Second option is to use the users emailaddress and determine where they come from. This option requires the Xoopslists.

Indeed a toughie

You have to look at your permissions, unchecking read only won't solve the problem...

Rightclick the cache, templates_c and upload dir and click on the tab security --> this can have a comletely different name but i don't know your language.

There should be a account with the name "Internet Guest Account" if not you have to add it to the root dir of your XOOPS website. Select this name/account.

The Internet Guest Account always has a name like this: Internet Guest Account(YOURPCNAME|USR_YOURPCNAME)
The permissions for this account should include "write"

zero:

It seems there is no db with the zero19_xoops on the server. Didn't you confuse your db name and the prefix?

If you have access with phpmyadmin then find out what the name is of that db your accessing, use that name in your XOOPS install...
