Hi,

I am using "LIKE" pattern matching to list all tilte string begining with an alphabetical letter such as A, B etc... using this code
SELECT * FROM tname WHERE string LIKE 'A%' it works great and return all strings begining with "A". But when matching with a UTF8 character such as Ă, Â, Ô, Ơ, Đ, Ư the query đidn't return anything eventhough there are some strings that begining with those letters.

I am trying to get a new sequence ID generated and I believed the following code will do it but somehow the $newid always = 0 (I thin it should be 8 because in the table "DanhGia_Phebinh" I have 7 rows already.
$newid = $xoopsDB->genId($xoopsDB->prefix("DanhGia_Phebinh")."_phebinhid_seq");

Any help would be appreciated!

I've had the same issue before. Someone suggested me to use custom session and the problem will be disappeared.

To use custom session go to System »» Preferences Main »» General Settings and select "yes" to "use custom session " (use firefox to log in to adminstration area)

I am having problem in unzip files downloaded thru wfdownload module, If someone could help!

The files were uploaded fine, but when files were downloaded it all currupted and can't unzip or unrar at all. I've checked the uploaded files in /uploads/ foler they were unzipped fine. Some how in the middle of transfering the files became corrupted.

Anyone have this same issues and know the fix please reply.

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 2.0.6 to Husband 2.3.1 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 2.0.6.

In addition, Husband 2.3.1 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as:
NBA 5.0,
NFL 3.0 and
Golf Clubs 4.1

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 2.0.6 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 2.3.1 is an operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
If that application works as designed, Husband 2.3.1 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember that overuse of the above application can cause Husband 2.3.1 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 2.0.6 . These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 2.3.1.

In summary, Husband 2.3.1 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend:
Cooking 3.0 and
Hot Lingerie 7.7
