Can anyone tell me the relationship between all the html and php files in the unzipped htdocs folder? There are so many of them. I have basic knowledge in html but not php. These files are really a big headache for me. And I am not confident in modifying them as I might put them into disorder.

Another thing is, I uploaded the htdocs folder into a server. And I tried to modified the themes.html. But the page doesn't show the images I have added using CSS. The page is correctly displayed in Dreamweaver, but not so after uploading.

XOOPS use smarty template technology.

thank you phppp,

yes your describe is exactly what i understand when i saw that sentence but some local members should see your explanation to accept that.

also you dont get an answer to the other question about validation of past rules for accept a site.

and whos one/team in the project can evaluate a local support site? communication team? i think just a local member/ambassador can do it well.

also number of outputs, hits, news,... can show its power.

What's the meaning of "local"? Contry/Region? Language? Province/State? City?
If there are no site for a contry/region or language. The users can create a group in google first. However, the google support almost all language and contry/region.

I went to a new look on our site and want to put in this banner at the top of the site. Currently I have our guilds logo to each site of the screen. I want this graphic in the center of the two, but need it to scale to the users screen resolution so it look s right. How would I do this? Here is the code from the body of my theme.

The site is www.acill.com/devildogs

Edit: Couldnt quote the code, it keeps rendering in the post as part of the page.

I am not able to visit your site. Would you please upload a picture?

Hi everybody!

i have been trying to integrate XOOPS into my existing website. To be exact, i would like to use my own masthead and html page layout. Can anyone tell me the first step of doing it? Which files are to be modified to achieve a XOOPS integration into an existing website?

Any input is very much appreciated. Thanks.

After you install XOOPS into a subdirectory. You may edit the theme as your current page layout.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.
I know the Modules Repository, but I don't see a list what modules are used to build a site like xoops.org? Especially for my question for content stuff I don't find an answer.

When you visit the www.xoops.org site. Can you notice the Community at the top-left of some page?
The links under Community is modules that www.xoops.org used.

For the forum yes, thank you.

But it seems that you need a module for content too. Any idea of a list which modules xoops.org uses?
