Hi,

well i can help you with the submit link:

>>go into this folder:
/templates/blocks/

>>open file:
extcal_block_minical

>>search for:
<a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/extcal/submit.php">

>>replace with:
<a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/extcal/new_event.php">

That fixed it for me, just read an answer on my question on Zoullou's site which explains some things :

Hi,

The 2.1.3 branch is a development version. So i have to add some feature to release it as stable. If you want use eXtCal on a production site, use the 2.0.4

Cheers

Hi guys,

does anyone know if the protector module works on a XOOPS 2.0.16 install with an IPB board installed?

Can't find any posting regarding this subject....

I may have a clue !!!!!!

Is anyone of you using the uservisit module???

I have been juggling with this problem before and thought it was a wiwimod versus xcgallery problem, after a while stopping to show pages and the galleries.

BUT, yesterday i had it again with my new site, which had been working fine like this for over 2 months. More modules stopped displaying and instead showed white pages, this made me figure..... I remembered it happening specifically after the uservisit module started functioning, because it wasn't before and i was resolving that issue. It has something to do with the footer.php of uservisit install, because when i replaced it with the original footer.php from xoops, EVERYTHING worked again as if nothing happened. (except for uservisit of course...)

Hope this helps. Verified it on two websites with the same issue

Well, it has been a while, but nothing helped. Tried everything that was mentioned here and in the Dutch support forums.....

In the end i did a fresh install and ran into the same problem. Still don't know what it was, but it looks like conflicting modules.....

Well i'm gonna try again, step by step and write everything down, to see what happened if it goes wrong again.

You could proceed to the following test.

1) Create a new directory on your server.

2) Make a fresh installation of a standard Xoops.

3) See how it behaves.... If it works, the problem comes from your site. If not, the problem may comes from your server configuration.

4) Install your modules one by one, and see which one causes troubles...

Yeah, i was also thinking in this direction and had allready started. thanks anyway

Thanks sofar for all your help guys,

yup i have phpmyadmin and did a check of all tables and optimized and repaired them....
I'm not able to login, that is the problem. When i click on login it just refreshes the page. No message or anything, just shows the exact same page with the module error.

Tried both value 1 and 2 for debug mode, but nothing appears on the pages when refreshing.

Re-uploaded all modules that i had on the site from my pc, so everything that had been there, is now again in the folder.
Didn't find any redundant tables of modules which shouldn't be there.

Tried everything as mentioned above, some of them allready before your postings, but still can't log in.
Even uploaded all modules from my computer back onto the server, no change.

Error: Selected module does not exist! - Sometimes happens when you install a module and then for some reason you delete it from the modules folder without uninstalling it first from the admin panel. Or the URL in a custom menu is written wrong. Or the modules files did not upload completely.

If when trying to login you are redirected to this error it could be because you had set this now unexisting module as default module for your startpage in admin > preferences > general settings.

When this happens one way to login...in a tricky way, is to: 1)press USER LOGIN in the login form once without putting anything in the form, you will get a page that says Incorrect Login, and then the login form will show again in the center 2) enter your admin access 3) you should now get redirected to your View Account page.

- that is just a strange sort of way of getting logged in and not be redirected to your homepage but to your user account page. Maybe this way it can let you in.

If you're able to get in this way you would have to check what's happening to the module and see what it is you have set to be as your default homepage.

[edit] I forget this: since you disabled all blocks then after getting in just type in the url directly to admin (ex.http://localhost/xoops/admin.php)

Thnx, both not working, i tried everything allready to get in. I activated the login block form the db, that worked and now tried your tip, but stil the index page statys the same with that error in it.
