Thanks JD I'll check he isn't clicking submit more than once, see if that's causing the problem...

It just seems a real problem, cause just about every post he makes is a double one...

Newbb 2 Double Posting Problem

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I've noticed this happen only for a couple of my members, but whenever they edit a post, instead of the one post, it's double posted. One of the person who this occurs to consistently said that he often edits a post a few times, which may cause problems.

I can't figure out the reason for this and was wondering if anyone had any tips to solve this (other than telling him to stop editing his posts so many times ), or had also experienced this.

I'm currently running 2.0.10 and latest Newbb2

I've never tried mydownloads, but I do use wfDownload which allows you to have an image (not linked to the download) which when you click on, enlarges into a larger picture, which may be what you're looking for.

I use both xoopsgallery and xcGallery for my site. I use Xoopsgallery for member private albums and xcGallery for screenshots.

I'm not sure why xoopsgallery isn't working for you, but you might like to try xcGallery if you're not having any luck with the others.

Hi Kesikkafa,

I think you're asking which module is the best to use on your homepage.... It depends what your site is about, I think a lot of people tend to use the news module. Everyone's different I guess, I tend to use the news or no module as start page.

I'm running both xcgallery and xoopsgallery. I had trouble with my path to the convert utility also. Luckily with xoopsgallery I was able to "Check Image Magick" in the xoopsgallery admin which gave me the path to the convert utility.

Mine was something like this /usr/X11R6/bin/convert

Then I went into xcgal and added /usr/X11R6/bin/ to get it to work. It's a long method, cause you probably don't want to install both gallery modules, but is worth a try if you get really stuck

The error may be here:

<input type="hidden" name="xoops_redirect" value="<{$xoops_url}>/index.php" />

try:

<input type="hidden" name="xoops_redirect" value="/index.php" />

WF-Sections is a really good module, especially for articles. I am soooo waiting for the next version as I'm still using the 1.X version.....
