Hello, Friends/
I'm not a module expert so I'm looking for some advice.

I need some kind of module to let users exchange their artworks, so that they can upload/download files from my site. (Not necessariry graphic files).

Thank you a lot in advance!

Sorry for not posting back but your problem has me stumped. Normally if the adminmenu.php is missing it will b rebuilt (after generating a few errors in admin). I am slightly worried that you said that once you deleted it, it was not recreated.

It should have been recreated if your /public_html/cache folder is set to 777. For some reason, PHP and the user under which the PHP process is running at cannot read, or more worryingly, write to the cache folder.

I'm feeling a bit stupid - what kind of user and owner is meant? domain account user name?

At the moment I had to reinstall XOOPS and restore the site manually, it took several hours and works now - but still I will try to solve this admin problem (i actually now have two copies of the site) and post the result here - for it's really the first with me time that a XOOPS problem was not solved.

Much grateful to those who tried to help.

Anyway, i got into System/Admin, but the left part is absent and the following error/

Warning [PHP]: xoops_cp_header(/home/flofik/public_html/xoops/cache/adminmenu.php): failed to open streamNo such file or directory in file include/cp_functions.php line 55
Warning

Notice

etc

McNaz was absolutely right - the problem is in adminmenu.php file. It exists, but cannot be opened. I tried deleting, but it wasn't configured. The wants some index file in cache folder now?

THat's my story
After moving my site to a new domain and restoring the backup I could not get to the admin menu - looping on "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed". Nothing helped - folder permissions, mainfile.php, ect.

I reinstalled XOOPS (2.0.13.1), althogh that was leaving a lot of job to restore the original site. Everythinng is OK with the admin now, now I cannot see custom blocks' content, anthough block titles are visible.
I'm gettng the following error:

Warning [Xoops]: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "db:system_block_dummy.html" in file
class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1084

6 identical messages on page (for each custom block)/

Does anyone know what could bring this about and how to help it?

You help is much appreciated

Thank you, I tried that twice - no result
1) the file was not rebiult
2) cannot logout from my profile page - the buttons simply disappear.
3)it takes several attempts to logout if I do it in the User Menu

just don't know what to do (I placed the file back now)
