I don't sure about Preloaders introduced by trabis and wishcraft. It's a kind of Hook events?
Instead why don't use EventDispatcher or implement an Observer pattern.

/modules/system/admin.php?fct=groups

Module > system > Groups

Editing the Anonymous group you want according to the permissions.
Check it. Then, turn on debug-mode (option 3) to see log.

Michael,

About Development

Please, you should be adopt MVC pattern.
Seriously, nobody gives a single f8cking sh*t for others patterns.

Use namespace, instead long Class Name like ZF.
Use PHP-CS-Fixer to fix coding standards issues with PSR1 and PSR2.
Make an API with Samin
Use Pimple as DI library or similar.

Modules
Can you make a list of official modules supported for 2.5 and 2.6?
For now, I'd like to help update these modules.

2.5.x
In SVN, What is the main branch for 2.5.x?

I left xoops a few years ago, but people who know me still ask me about xoops. I only respond with something like that.

Breaking up with her is never easy, but if you're man enough, you'll know to do it when it's time. (I know, it sounds stupid)

Recently, a friend of mine send me this thread forum, and the github page.

I know Richard (geekwright) has a lot of good job and he has been working for core base for a few years. But it's time to release new versions [0], and drop older versions [1]. So I don't understand why Eduardo and others aren't in the Official Development team.

Kevin (vamptrix)
You rocks man.
I recommend you to stick with only one CSS framework instead make another theme base. Maybe, you can improve the Administration Page?

Michael (Mamba)
Have we got any help page or contributor guide?
I mean, people who wants to help us resolve own issues.

Basic Module Pack
Can we make a survey for it?
A survey for all active users can be helpful.
Let users choose the new official modules. (engagement)
All these modules would be upgrade to 2.6.

XOOPS.org Theme
Please, released it on github, and request cosmetic changes.

XOOPS Admin
Please, stop doing themes for them instead make a solid and foundation admin theme.

I'm busy like others, but here to help you.

@ipwgc
All Windows APIs think in UTF-16 (ISO), so you're better off writing/translate around with a powerfull editor that converts all to utf8. (like notepad++ or sublime2)

I guess you have an issue with your keyboard and language configuration. See control panel, so this issue isn't important at the moment. BTW you have 2 options: get a new keyboard, then translate yourself; or upgrade to 2.5 with utf8 support.

Unfortunately, there is no way to maintain two translations such Unicode (utf8) and ISO, is not sense, like Oswaldo mentioned.

The only solution offered by Oswaldo is great: translate separately and then will try to upgrade to lasted Xoops version.

@oswaldo
I'm afraid this isn't an option for you, of course, since the actual state xoops translation is hard, but if you get time for it go-ahead.

Thank you for your effort!

Your Sincerely,
