Re: News Module: How to display both parent and child articles?

Hmmm thanks sailjapan. I want to be able to click on a button in the top navigation and have it bring up multiple news categories.

I tried looking for xmspotlight, but it appears all the links are dead. Anybody know where I can d/l this module?

thanks :)

News Module: How to display both parent and child articles?

Ok, I'm working with news 1.51. (Yes, I know I need to upgrade, but can't at the moment).

In my 7dana-Xred theme, I'd like one of the buttons at the top to link to both the parent and child topics of a particular news category.

How do I go about displaying multiple news categories (parent + children) at once? Thanks in advance :)

Module icons disappeared on admin page

Yes, I searched the forums and found nothing on this particular problem. I deleted the cache/admin file as referenced in this FAQ, but still no joy.

Xoops 2.0.13.1
PHP was upgraded on the server and my weblinks .91 module had a blank page. After backing up the site, I attempted to upgrade to weblinks .95 and still got a blank page. I changed the permissions from 755 to 777 on the weblinks folder and still no luck, so I changed them back.

I logged into the site and now on the admin page, all my module icons have disappeared.

Anybody have some wise words of wisdom to make them reappear?

Thanks in advance :)

Krystine

date problems in newbb/CBB

Hi everyone,

Running a 2.0.131 XOOPS site with CBB 1.13 as a discussion forum. My site was recently upgraded to PHP Version 5.2.9 and now the discussion forum posts are being dated as Quote:

Any ideas you may have on how to fix this would be most appreciated ;)

wf-downloads 2.05 - How to change subject line of notifications?

Hi everyone

In wf-downloads 2.05, is there a way I could change the subject line of the notification email/message to include the actual name of the file? Right now the subject line is "[Site Name] Downloads auto-notify : New file"

Users have suggested it would be helpful to know which file has been uploaded without having to go in and open the email.

Thanks in advance,

wf-downloads notification, changing subject line to file name?

Hi everyone

Is it possible to change the subject line of the notification email/inbox message in wf-downloads to include the file name that was uploaded?

Right now, the subject line is "[Site Name] Downloads auto-notify : New file in category." Users would like to be able to see what file has been uploaded w/o having to open the email.

Thanks in advance,

Document Mgmt Module - Multiple Categories

I'm wondering if there's a document repository/management module that will support a file belonging to multiple categories? (For example, a PDF of a fiction story could be categorized under fiction, but also, by author, genre, etc.)

I don't believe wf-downloads currently supports this. Does anyone know of a module that does?

Thanks in advance,
